One of Southport’s most iconic landmarks, The Grand, sitting proudly on Lord Street has been brought back to its former glory by The Mikhail Hotel and Leisure Group.
The building which, of recent, had fallen into disrepair, was reconstructed as The Grand Cinema in 1938, formerly Richard Woodhead’s car Showroom dating from 1923 has been brought back to life by Mikhail Hotel and Leisure Group.
Andrew Mikhail, Chairman of Mikhail Hotel & Leisure Group, said of this exciting venture, “Bringing fabulous buildings back to life is such a rewarding feeling and a building as stunning as The Grand Casino deserves to be enjoyed by the people of Southport and beyond.
