The Bold Hotel has strong links with Aintree, in particular, the most famous Grand National name of them all, Red Rum. The treble race winner spent the night in what is now the function suite, now named after the famous horse the night before his first win in 1973 and actually walked through the room for a party in his honour after his third win on 2nd April 1977. What better way to celebrate this years festival than to PARTY LIKE RED RUM? The afternoon is a wonderful way to raise money for MacMillan, a charity that I am sure has touched many lives, whilst having some fabulous fun.
Enjoy a Race Day like no other, we’ll be hosting the most extraordinary of all Aintree Grand National events plus an incredible after party. Grab your hats and glam up, join us from 1pm and be welcomed with a glass of fizz and some delicious canapés followed by a two course lunch. Our professional compère will then welcome you to take your seats for the Main event showing on our big screen.
There’ll be all the racing, glitz and glamour and best dressed competitions Aintree without the weather, sore feet or the queues.
An evening of fun follows after the last horse passes the final post, win prizes with bonkers bingo and a charity auction and scratch cards to raise much needed funds for MacMillan. Celebrate your win and party into the night with our resident DJ.
